Why are my Affinity brushes not installing?

- Please confirm that you are installing your brushes to the correct program.
- All of our brushes will work in Affinity Designer, while only some of them work in both Affinity Designer and Affinity Photo. This is because some of the brushes are raster (will work in Designer and Photo) and some are vector (will work in Designer only).

- If the brushes are still not installing after you confirm you are installing them in the correct program, you may need to update your software to the latest version of Affinity Photo.

- Determine if your brushes are vector or raster.
- Before you begin attempting to install your brushes, you need to determine whether the brushes are vector or raster. This will determine which Persona you need to be in.
- You can determine whether your brushes are vector or raster by looking in the gray compatibility box below the Add to Cart button at the top of every product page.

- Brushes that are compatible with Affinity Designer and Affinity Photo are raster brushes.

- Brushes that are compatible with Affinity Designer only are vector brushes.

- Make sure you are in the correct Persona.

Once you have determined whether your brushes are vector or raster, you need to make sure you are installing the brushes in the correct Persona.

Vector brushes need to be installed in the Drawing Persona.

Raster brushes need to be installed in the Pixel Persona.

- If the brushes are still not installing, you may need to update your software to the latest version of Affinity Photo.
