Can I install your brushes into other programs such as Clip Paint Studio, Rebelle, Krita, Artweaver, Artrage, or CorelDRAW?

No, RetroSupply brushes should not be imported into other software programs not listed in our software compatibility specifications. This includes, but is not limited to, Clip Paint Studio, Rebelle, Krita, Artweaver, Artrage, and CorelDRAW.

You can find software compatibility at the top of every product page in a grey box under the Add to Cart button (see below). If you choose to buy the brushes for a program not listed in the software compatibility specifications, we cannot offer technical support or refunds.

Although some of these programs claim to have the ability to import .abr Photoshop or .ai Illlustrator brushes, we do not recommend it. Here's why:

1. RetroSupply brushes will not behave correctly in programs they were not made for.

While the brush settings in some software programs greatly resemble those in Photoshop, Illustrator, Affinity, or Procreate, the setting are not identical. Therefore, the brushes do not look nor function as they are intended.

At RetroSupply, we spend hours, and often days, rigorously testing and improving our brushes until they reach their final version. We create brushes in the programs they were intended to be used in, as to make them behave to the highest standard.

RetroSupply brushes imported into other software programs do not meet our high standard for usability and functionality.

2. RetroSupply's license only allows usage in the intended program.

To keep the integrity of our brushes, the RetroSupply license only allows you to install the brushes into the program for which it was created. For example, if our compatibility states Adobe Photoshop, you are only allowed to install those brushes into Adobe Photoshop, not Affinity, Clip Studio Paint, Krita, etc.

Additionally, and for this reason, RetroSupply cannot offer technical support for users who are attempting to import brushes into a program not listed in the compatibility software specs.

We also do not offer refunds for those attempting to import our brushes into other programs.
